Cottingham Stadium
The Cottingham Stadium facility consisted of a grass field within a cinder area and aging bleachers. The project involved the conversion of the grass field to a synthetic turf field. New bleacher facilities were designed for both the home and visitor sides and provide required accessibility. New asphalt walkways/congregation spaces were added throughout the facility. A new main entrance was added to the southwester corner of the stadium complex. Terraform utilized a stone bed under the synthetic turf field and a spray irrigation system to mitigate the stormwater runoff from the project area. Additionally, Terraform worked with the reviewing agencies to acquire all the necessary approvals to allow for the construction.

Northwestern Lehigh High School Stadium
The Northwestern Lehigh High School stadium had a grass field within a cinder track. The project involved the conversion of the grass field to a synthetic turf field with additional paved and rubberized “D zones”. Additionally, the track was converted from a cinder track to a paved and rubberized track. Field events were relocated to an area to the northeast. New visitor bleachers were constructed on the southern side of the fields. New walkways were also constructed to provide better access for the stadium complex. Terraform utilized a stone bed under the synthetic turf field to mitigate the stormwater runoff from the project area. Additionally, Terraform worked with the reviewing agencies to acquire all the necessary approvals to allow for the construction.
Northwestern Lehigh High School Stadium Improvements Heidelberg Township, Lehigh County, PA
East Penn Turf Field
The Emmaus High School stadium had a grass field within the existing track. The project involved the conversion of the grass field to a synthetic turf field with additional paved and rubberized “D zones”. Additionally, field events were relocated to an area to the northeast that was refurbished with the fill material taken from the synthetic turf field area. Terraform utilized a stone bed under the synthetic turf field to mitigate the stormwater runoff from the project area. Additionally, Terraform worked with the reviewing agencies to acquire all the necessary approvals to allow for the construction.

Annunciation Church
The Annunciation Church project is located on approximately 20 acres of land on the southwest corner of the intersection of Bethman Road with US Route 22. The project proposes a little over 32,000 SF church facility consisting of a 300 seat sanctuary, 500 seat fellowship hall, and classrooms and offices. The facility is provided with driveways and parking facilities. Terraform worked with the neighboring St. Francis Friary & Retreat House and reviewing agencies to acquire all the necessary approvals to allow for the construction of the proposed church.

Emmanuel’s Evangelical Lutheran Church
Terraform Engineering provided land development plans for a fellowship hall addition, a new parking lot, grading, landscaping, stormwater management and a new septic system. The project required several PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permits as well as township, conservation district, and DEP approvals.

Lehigh Valley Academy
Lehigh Valley Academy is a school located in three commercial buildings with a parking lot in between. The challenge of this project was to turn as much of this parking lot into a green space while still allowing for bus circulation and loading. Cost is a factor in any project and so short-term and long-term solutions were provided to the client.

Avon Grove High School/ Middle School Campus
A new softball field was designed for the Avon Grove High School/Middle School campus. The project scope included the softball field, backstops, fence, and dugouts. Retaining walls were also required to avoid the adjacent wetlands. Scope also included survey, wetland delineation, phase I bog turtle study, infiltration testing, site layout, stormwater design, sprinkler design, erosion and sediment control plans, and general NPDES permitting. The project scope was expanded to include a multi-purpose athletic field on the London Grove Township property adjacent to the site. Layout and grading were coordinated between the School District and the Township. Terraform also assisted in review of the lease agreement between the two parties. Terraform assisted the School District with issues related to their baseball field drains.
Terraform also assisted the School District in evaluating the condition of the existing parking and driveway facilities. Terraform recommended full depth pavement reconstruction, mill and overlay rehabilitation, curb replacement, and dock repair. Terraform prepared plans showing the limits of each type of pavement rehabilitation. Terraform also prepared the technical specifications and bid specifications, then provided construction administrative services including limited construction observation and guidance when unforeseen conditions arose.

Sandy Run Middle School
The Sandy Run Middle School project is located on the existing middle school campus of approximately 30 located at 520 Twining Road in Upper Dublin Township. The project involved the construction of an approximately 132,000 SF middle school, while the existing middle school remained in operation. The existing middle school will then demolished to make room for additional parking area and recreational space for the middle school. Terraform worked with the reviewing agencies to acquire all the necessary approvals to allow for the construction of the proposed middle school.
Sandy Run Middle School Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County, PA
Crooked Billet Elementary School
The new Crooked Billet Elementary School project is located on the existing elementary school campus of approximately 13.5 acres located at 101 Meadowbrook Avenue in the Borough of Hatboro. The project involved the demolition of the existing elementary school and construction of a new approximately 110,000 SF elementary school. The project also involved construction of parking and driveways which were setup to separate the bus traffic from the parent drop-off traffic. Terraform worked with the reviewing agencies to acquire all the necessary approvals to allow for the construction of the proposed elementary school.
Crooked Billet Elementary School Borough of Hatboro, Montgomery County, PA
Newtown Middle School
The project involves the construction of new middle school to be built on site while the existing middle school is in operation. Once the new school is completed the old school will be demolished and a new athletic field will be constructed. As with any educational project, phasing is a key component in keeping the existing Newtown Middle School operational during construction. The final condition will meet township requirements for parking, event, and pedestrian and vehicular circulation. Terraform was responsible for all site design and assisted in the construction phasing for the project. Terraform worked with the School District, Architect, MEP Consultant, and the Construction Manger as well as all regulatory agencies to complete the design and gain approvals for the project. This project also required PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit approval for the construction of a new driveway. The project is pursuing LEED Silver certification upon completion.
Newtown Middle School Newtown Township, Bucks County, PA
Nitschmann Middle School
Located within the City of Bethlehem, the Nitschmann Middle School project had many challenges that Terraform Engineering overcame including constructing a new school while keeping the existing middle school operational, the lot size, improving bus and vehicle circulation, and obtaining LEED Silver certification. Project approvals were required from the City of Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, Lehigh County Conservation District, and PennDOT.

4730 Hanoverville Road
The 4730 Hanoverville Road facility is located on approximately 22 acres of land on the northwest corner of the intersection of Hanoverville Road with Georgetown Road. The project proposes a little over 240,000 SF of light industrial facility. The facility is provided with driveways sufficient for truck traffic along with parking lots and loading areas. Terraform is working with the reviewing agencies to acquire all the necessary approvals to allow for the construction of the proposed facility.
4730 Hanoverville Road Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, PA
ICS Sparkle Car Wash
This project involved the demolition of an existing Sonic Restaurant and construction of a new state of the art car wash in Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, PA Terraform worked with the car wash developer to layout the site to provide for vehicular queuing and movement through the site in an efficient and safe manner while staying within the constraints of existing easements and developed adjoiners. Terraform was responsible for getting approvals for the project. In addition to Lower Nazareth Township, Nazareth Borough Authority and Easton Suburban Water Authority approvals were required. Terraform worked with the owner to detail the car wash water reuse/treatment storage structures and connection to the public sewer. Terraform also provided design of the driveways, vacuum bay area, storm collection and conveyance system, and parking.

Riverview Estates
This large scale project involves individual and town house layouts for each of the 216 lots on the 125 acre project. The project was designed to be constructed in 5 phases. Terraform has been performing construction support services including individual lot layouts and grading, deed descriptions, as built surveys, and individual lot approvals.
Riverview Estates Forks Township, Northampton County, PA
Toboggan Trail Subdivision
Terraform assisted the property owner in subdividing a 1.5 acre property with a detention pond into five lots. The project included obtaining approvals for the construction of two duplexes and detention pond improvements. Approvals were required from Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, Forks Township and the Northampton County Conservation District.
